Social Events

The Social Program for ICDX is still in the planning stages, so keep an eye on this page for updates!

We are planning to expand our Social program beyond the following, but some core events being planned are:

• Welcome Reception on Sunday evening
• Congress Opening Ceremony on Monday morning
• A Hospitality Suite (happy hour, with cash bar and finger foods) most evenings of the Congress
• The Official Launch of Volume 3 of the Manual of Afrotropical Diptera on Tuesday after symposia
• Congress Banquet on Wednesday evening with Dr. Erica McAlister as the dinner speaker (tickets need to be purchased during or after registration)
• Congress Closing Ceremony on Friday around noon
