Details of the ICDX Program will be provided here as they become available. Following are some general program notes.
The first day of the meeting, Sunday, 16 July, will be for registering. There will also be an evening welcome reception.
The opening ceremony and first plenary will begin the formal program on the morning of Monday, 17 July.
Each of the next days, Tuesday-Thursday, 18-20 July, will begin with a plenary talk to begin the formal program of symposia.
The official launch of Volume 3 of the Manual of Afrotropical Diptera will be a reception after the symposia close for the day on Tuesday, 18 July, sponsored by the African Natural History Research Trust.
The Congress Banquet will be on the evening of Wednesday, 19 July, with banquet speaker Dr. Erica McAlister.
The last day of the meeting, Friday, 21 July, will have a plenary speaker and symposia before the closing ceremony. The meeting will close at about 1:00pm. Lunch will be on your own on that day, not provided by the Congress.
