Preregistration will help with planning (preferably by June 3), but you can register right up to the meeting. The $60 registration cost ($30 for students) covers nearly everything except lodging, including:
As of March 2022, face masks are no longer required in most outdoor and indoor settings in New Jersey. We will continue to evaluate COVID safety protocols for this meeting as the spring progresses.
Lodging is $35/night per person ($140 for 4 nights). Payment can be made using the form below to prepay, or you can pay on arrival. Bring your own bed linens or sleeping bag, and towels. If you wish to camp onsite, please contact the organizer, Jon Gelhaus, who will provide the rate and availability. Note, group/communal bathrooms and showers are available for campers.
For dipterists seeking help to cover registration and lodging costs, or to include additional travel support, we can support a limited number through the Bossert-Young Diptera Research Fund (Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University) and the grants program of the North American Dipterists Society. If interested, please visit the Travel Grants tab at the Society Grants & Awards page for details of how to submit an application. The deadline for grant applications is 29 April 2022. Applications are open to all dipterists, but student applicants will be given priority.
To pay by check or money order (made out to "North American Dipterists Society"), please submit along with the filled and printed MEETING REGISTRATION FORM to:
